A new wellness series begins next week at the Audubon Library in Amherst.

“Nourish the Whole You Living,” presented by nurse practitioner and holistic health coach Dana Inzeo, is designed to help those who attend find a healthier balance when it comes to juggling relationships, careers, physical health, spiritual practices and nutrition. The goal is to identify the areas of your life that need attention, simple ways to eat healthier, and the best foods to add to your daily diet.

The lineup:

• Tuesday – “We Are More Than What We Eat” will teach ways to take care of yourself, manage stress and find greater balance.

• Sept. 9 – “Healthy Eating: One Size Does Not Fit All” will look at the history of the food industry in the U.S. and how it has contributed to chronic disease, including diabetes and obesity. Learn some ways to make healthier food choices and dispel some common food-related myths.

• Sept. 16 – “I Don’t Know What to Eat” will look into how to pick the best foods to eat in each food category, discuss whole vs processed foods, benefits of eating organic products, demystify grocery food shopping, and opportunity to try some new foods.

All three lectures start at 7 p.m. at the library, 350 John James Audubon Parkway. Registration is required by calling 689-4922.
